Using Inexpensive Speedlights for Quality Results

What will you learn at the Chandler Studios Workshop for Lighting and Posing.  Here is an example of just one of the many classes you will get.  Remember this is “Hands On” learning.

How I did it

This image was captured in our camera room at Chandler Studios using a Nikon D700 and two Speedlights (flashes). I used the less expensive Chinese Flashes and Triggers in the capture.   _7007304_FB

You can learn to master the details of this type of inexpensive lighting by attending our upcoming “Lighting Essentials” Workshop scheduled for 17-18 January 2015. What follows is an explanation of how I positioned lights, what I used, and a comparative review of costs associated to the lighting.

Being able to have a creative thought and be able to have it come out of your camera as you imagined is an amazing feeling. In 2011, after taking classes at the college that just didn’t give me what I needed, I spent time with John in his beginner class. I learned the basics, and was encouraged to shoot on RAW. I have never looked back.   Having a strong foundation to build on is so crucial. If you are interested in exploring what you can create with your camera, take a class with John. The sky is the limit, if you start with a good foundation.

John Chandler is an active member in the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of North Carolina and is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP).
