  1. This is so helpful, John!! Thank you for creating and sharing this lighting resource; its one of the best I’ve read – makes things much simpler to understand. I have been struggling with learning how to separate my subject from a black background – looking forward to trying out my speedlights as kicker lights – hoping that will help.
