On Sunday July 15th, 2018 Ralph and I will present the “Ins and Outs” of Underwater Photography. This presentation for the Professional Imaging Group of Eastern North Carolina (PIGOENC) will demonstrate HOW to conduct a safe and productive Underwater Session. We will focus on these areas, WATER SAFETY, the importance of controlling your BOUYANCY, what EQUIPMENT is essential, LIGHTING and how water effects LIGHT, and lastly wardrobe suggestions. This Shoot will be conducted by Photographers John Chandler and Ralph Hunter. Both John and Ralph are Certified Professional Photographers and members in good standing with the Professional Photographers of America and the Professional Photographers of North Carolina.
This PRESENTATION will be conducted on Ralph’s property in located near Beaulaville and Richlands, NC at 176 Hunter Rd. Beulaville NC 28518. You can text or call Ralph at 910 296 3274, or John at 910 382 2418. We encourage you to bring folding chairs for the cookout.
We will begin 2:00PM SHARP! We will teach from 2-3, then let you have at from 3-5. Then we want to have a COOKOUT (see more below)
WHAT TO WEAR? Well you are probably going to get wet so wear or bring a bathing and a hat! Ralph has a nice changing area. Remember to bring your SUNBLOCK too.
WHAT ABOUT CAMERA GEAR? If you have an UW housing for your camera please bring that. EVERYONE who wants to experience this will be in the water with Ralph or John so you can enjoy the challenges (and fun) of UW Photography. Also, we recommend you bring your Off Camera Flash gear too. You will have models to practice both Pool Side and in Pool shots. So an OCF would be very helpful and you can practice OCF in HARSH sunlight.
COOKOUT: Ralph and Marsha are providing Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for the Grill. Joanna has volunteered to head up the Covered Dish Committee so if you would like to bring a side dish please coordinate that with Joanna Cumbo!
